We purchesed about three, before we found the one that was perfect. If you think you can get the proper dowel fit with a drill, then think again. You most likely won't get a good fit with a reamer eather, unless you know how to size it. We use carbide reamers that we spent several hours on, and made at least a dozen holes before we got the correct fit. You won't get the job done on a $50.00 drill press either.
