Simple test plate made from 3/16" or 1/4" thick steel plate.

Bolt plate to Oil Cooler and with air chuck pressurize the cooler with about 100 lbs of air pressure.

Place under water and check for air bubbles or set to one side and check after several hours if the 100# is being held.

Be sure to use correct Seals Under oil cooler. Seal must fit case & cooler. Some oil coolers use washer under cooler bolts.

Always pressure clean oil coolers before reusing.

Be sure to clean oil passages every time motor is overhauled.
