"C"= Inner Bearing Flange = .100" This Dimension should never be changed.

        Some Oversize Bearing flange dia. (E) will need to be cut or cut case to fit.

Note: Cut Case Thrust just to clean up & then cut bearing to fit case. Never cut case to +1 or +2 thrust. If Your shop tells they cut the thrust to a #1 or #2 so it's easer for you to buy bearings. Find another VW Shop fast. .
