Brand New VW Case -- New Aluminum Universal 1600cc stock VW case - Instead of being made from a Magnesium alloy- they are made from a much stronger Aluminum alloy. They have had extra material added for reinforcement and strength and are completely machined for stock configuration with 8mm cylinder head stud inserts. These can be easily machined to accept the larger 90.5mm / 92mm & 94mm piston & cylinder. Comes with case savers installed for the 8mm head studs, use the new style cam plugs and have the T-3 mounting bosses.

These new bare cases are a great starting place when you build your next engine. Old case can be warped, cracked, have worn lifter bores or cylinder studs ready to pull loose. If your not sure about your old case then this is the way to go.

New aluminum super case has dual oil relief, and designed with the following improvements: pent-roof, reinforced and clearance for up to 86mm crankshaft, reinforced behind #3 cylinder for extra strength. Main oil gallery has been drilled and tapped for easy access and full flow oil system. Shuffle pins pre-installed in center main bearing saddles. Available for 8mm or 10mm case stud or left un-drilled so you can easily relocate studs.

** Stroker Rods normally available in lengths of 5.394" , 5.500" , 5.600" , 5.700" , with VW and Chev Journal dia. being used the most often.

Note: Some of the New VW cases have the oil pump inlet and outlet passages in new locations. Make sure the passages in the case align up to the ones in the oil pump. Also check for aluminum flashing in all the cast passages.
