Bosch 019 & 010 had no Vacuum Pot &  had cast iron body. Points #01016 or 01001 - Rotor # 04008
Condenser #1 237 330  055 - Cap #03019 

Note: Pulley Timing Marks Normally a Three-Notch Pulley is TDC, 7-1/2' and 10' degrees BTDC
Single mark on Pulley is normally 5 degrees ATDC. August 1970-spring 73 cars w/carbs
Late 1973-74 (except Calif. w/manual Tran) w/single vacuum hose to Dist. TDC & 7-1/2'  BTDC
Late 1973-74 Calif. w/manual Tran. had marks at 5' & TDC
1971 -77 1600cc motors had #1 plug wire at right front of distributor cap.

Point Spring Tension is 16-ounces or 400g-600g. and Dwell should be 44.50 degrees.
Coil voltage between terminals #15 & #1 must be below 9.6 volts. Terminal #15 to ground is 12volts.
Stock coils step up the current to as much as 20,000 volts
 
---( 27 degrees is about 1 5/8" to the right of the TDC mark and 31 degrees is about 1 7/8" to the right of the TDC mark on the stock 7" dia pulley ) --- But this is not the way to get these figures and all VW pulleys are not the same.    How to Find Top Dead Center-> *Click     TDC = woodruff key in crank at exactly 9:00 o'clock.

Due to the interchangeability of VW Distributors throughout the entire 37 year VW range, for ordering purposes we must rely on the distributor number and not the year of the car. Years are listed as a reference point only. The ten digit number is often on the back of the distributor and can only be read by removing the distributor from the engine.
